Tools & Materials Required:

  • Torque wrench (ft-lb capable)
  • Socket wrench and correct socket (typically 1/2″)
  • Tire mounting lube
  • Valve core tool
  • Air compressor
  • Medium-strength thread locker (e.g., Blue Loctite)

    • Apply thread locker to each beadlock bolt.
    • Hand-thread all 24 bolts evenly to center the beadlock ring.

    Close-up applying beadlock bolts

Apply thread locker and hand-thread each bolt evenly.

  5. Torque in Stages:
    • Use a crisscross/star pattern and torque in passes:
      • Stage 1: 10 ft-lbs
      • Stage 2: 20 ft-lbs
      • Final Stage: 25 ft-lbs max
    • Do not exceed 25 ft-lbs. Do not use an impact gun.

Torquing bolts in a star pattern

Use a torque wrench and follow a star pattern for even pressure.

  6. Inflate the Tire:
    • Reinstall valve core and inflate to recommended PSI.
    • Ensure inner bead seats completely.
  7. Leak Check:
    • Spray soapy water around the ring and valve stem to check for leaks.

Post-Installation Torque Checks:

  • Re-torque beadlock bolts after 50–100 miles.
  • Repeat at 200 miles and check regularly during off-road use or tire deflation cycles.

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • This wheel is intended for off-road use only. Not DOT-approved for street use in most states.
  • Always use Grade 8 hardware or better. Inspect bolts before reinstalling.
